There is no 'one-size-fits-all' answer to this question, as each patient has a unique treatment plan that will involve different medication options, so the cost will vary. With that said, prices start from £7.99 per gram of medicinal cannabis flower, with the minimum monthly order amount being 10g. The minimum oil price is £149.99 for 30ml, with that being the minimum monthly allowance. During your initial consultation, your prescribing specialist will be able to advise on how much medication is appropriate for your treatment plan and which medication will best suit your health needs. They will also advise you on the cost of these medications.

In the UK, any and all cannabis products containing more than 0.2% THC (or 1 mg THC per container) are considered controlled substances. You can only access medical cannabis oil if you have been prescribed it by a specialist doctor listed on the GMC registry. Releaf recommends reaching out to your insurance provider to see what you may be eligible for. In some cases, patients may need to provide documentation from their private medical cannabis clinic before treatment begins to receive coverage. We will happily help with all documentation required.

You can request an invoice for any of your past or present prescriptions from your Patient Portal. Select the ‘Prescriptions’ tab to view all past and present prescriptions and select the prescription you would like the invoice for. Once you have selected the prescription for which you would like an invoice, click ‘Request an invoice' and the invoice will be generated for you.
