With a large proportion of Releaf patients choosing the Omura Vaporiser to "heat, not burn" their prescribed medical cannabis flower options, we thought it was about time to quickly discuss how to use the Flowerstick Home Fill System.
But first...
To put it simply, Omura has created an extremely effective vaporising system for medical cannabis.
We want our patients to have an easy-to-use, easy-to-dose, and easy-to-clean option for vaporising their medication.
The Omura Vaporiser ticks all those boxes.
Unlike many of the other dry herb vaporisers on the market, Omura Vaporisers use Flowersticks instead of loose medical cannabis flower.
Why?
The main advantages of the Omura Flowersticks are that they not only act as a mouthpiece for the vaporiser, eliminating any contact between your mouth and the device (keeping the process super hygienic), but also separate the ground medical cannabis flower from the heating element, avoiding any risk of combustion and keeping the device clean.
This ensures a more consistent dose with each use and keeps the vape itself clean and free from residue.
To improve the patient experience (and to help patients with dexterity or mobility/tremor issues who may struggle to fill the Flowersticks), Omura has created the Flowerstick Home Fill System.
This allows patients to easily and quickly fill 16 Flowersticks at home with their pre-ground medical cannabis flower.
For many patients, that is enough medication to last between 5 and 8 days (some patients who are prescribed higher doses may need to fill their Flowersticks more frequently).
The Flowerstick Home Fill System has been designed to work seamlessly with new packets of Flowersticks. These packets hold 16 flower sticks and slide directly into the Home Fill System once the lid has been flipped open.
So, the process is as follows:
